    Hi,
I want to implement custom map plugin for QtLocation.
I've read the OSM plugin's source (That's complex) but where is the step by step tutorial for creating custom map plugin?
Also after I googled I found http://doc.qt.digia.com/qtmobility/location-overview.html#implementing-plugins but the link is dead.

    I appreciate any idea.

    Yours,
    Ali

      Hi,

There's a forum member that created several plugins that you might want to take a look at for ideas.

The dead link points anyway to an outdated module.

Thank you @SGaist but there are just codes there is no tutorial!
I'll check them might be they help me to understand the concepts behind QtLocation.
In fact I want to fetch the tiles locally without any network dependencies.

Here's a link to the QtMobility documentation you found earlier.

            Dear @SGaist ,

Fortunately your suggested link (several plugins) help me a lot specially BingMap plugin that is simple and efficient.
Despite the lack of documentation on QtLocation open source plugins can really help.

            I really appreciate your help.

            Thank you.

            Best regards,
            Ali
