    How to fix this broken characters? I use Qt 5.7.1 MSVC 2015 32 bit, to note that Qt 5.7.1 MinGW works fine.

      @MikhailG Looks like your compiler is localized (uses non-english language). I don't know whether you can change something in QtCreator, but you could try to change compiler configuration to use English (I don't know how to do it for VC).

        i have the same issue after i rebuild qt everywere on my PC.
        When i used Qt Qreator Commercial version with 30 days limit, it was all fine

          @Andrey-Shmelew Apparently it was a bug. To solve it I changed my Regional and Language Setttings in Control Panel from Russian to English. That is it.

                @Andrey-Shmelew control panel -> clock language region -> regional standards -> additionally -> change system language . after that reboot your PC.
