QT Designer Wont Open
-
Hi, i am running QT For MSVC2015 64 bit, and i can not get the QT Designer to open. When i open the designer, it just does nothing, there is no crash message or anything, it opens the process in task manager, but it never actually does anything. I have the exact same setup on my desktop and i can open the designer just fine, but not on my laptop. The reason i am trying to get the designer to open, is so I can use the "Non-official?" visual studio plugin, so I can open .ui files without opening them all manually through the creator. If i try to open the designer through visual studio, it just freezes my visual studio and inevitably causes me to kill it through task manager. I am running windows 10 64bit, if that matters.
All of the other QT Applications work fine (linguist, assistant, creator) just not designer

I have the same problem. I have VS 2013 and 2015 installed on my 64-bit Windows 10 Pro system running build 14393 (Anniversary update). I have Qt versions MSVC2013 and MSVC2015, both 64-bit installed. I cannot launch the standalone QtDesigner using any means. It simply hangs during the launch (no windows, no taskbar icon, nothing). I have to kill it via Task Manager.
All other Qt standalone apps work and I can launch the Designer in QtCreator -- but the standalone QtDesigner will simply not launch.
I tried completely removing all traces of Qt from my computer and reinstalling using the latest on-line installer from qt.io. It still does not work.
