    hi,

I have had problem with qtmake recently. My antivirus avast tells qmake is a virus and block it. Then I was not able to compile a program which worked correctly before this warning from avast. I can't load any program. In qt creator it says:
Could not find qmake configuration file default.
Error while parsing file C:\Users\myproject.pro Giving up.

So I decided to uninstall qt to reinstall it. But during installation I have this error:

    http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2016/26/1467016152-errorqt.jpg.
I clicked on ignore and then still have the same problem: i can't load any project and the same error is displayed.

    what could i do?

thank for any help you could give

Did you completely uninstall Qt before reinstalling it. You should delete the installation directory after uninstall. And you should disable Avast before installation and later add an exception to Avast so it does not block qmake.

        thanks for your reply,

Is it wise to disable avast during installation? is it a known bug?
Anyway. I did what you have adviced and now it works.

        thanks :)

@jacquot It is always wise as long as you trust the installer :-) Because anti-virus software can have false-positives and block files.
