Why is building project so slow in Qt 5.6.1 after editing header file?

I'm using Qt 5.6.1 32 bit VS 2015 on my Windows 7 64 bit PC. Whenever I make changes to a header file for any of my classes, then build the project, it takes so long to build. I was previously using Qt 5.5.0 and the builds didn't take so long. Any replies welcome. Thanks in advance.
