Qt Creator 4.0 qml specifics files ignored
Okyn last edited by
I switched from qt creator 3.6 to 4.0 and there is something very strange.
I have custom QML files in a directory like this :
MyModule (folder) MyFile1.qml MyFile2.qml qmldir designer (folder) MyFile1Specifics.qml MyFile2Specifics.qml MyModule.metainfo
and the content of qmldir file is
module MyModule MyFile1 1.0 MyFile1.qml MyFile2 1.0 MyFile2.qml designersupported
In qt creator 3.6 when I import this directory with QML2_IMPORT_PATH the .specifics files from the designer folder where taken into account but with qt cretaor 4.0 it doesn't work. QML files are displayed in the library but the layout I have defined in the .specifics files is not display.
If you have an idea to solve my problem I would be happy :)
Looks like something has changed. I'd recommend asking this on the Qt Creator mailing list. You'll find there Qt Creator's developers/maintainers. This forum is more user oriented.

I am not aware of any changes to the lookup of the the specifics files.
And everything you describe looks good.
Can you try to use the QML_IMPORT_PATH variable of qmake instead of the QML2_IMPORT_PATH environment variable?
