Does Radio example works in Android?

Hi,
I am trying to make a sample radio application for my android phone. I just tried Qt Radio Example and deployed to my mobile. But it shows "no radio". But when I play default radio application in android it plays.
When I read about radio overview it is mentioned that radio should be analog, and radio tuner should support RDS.
How to check if radio in my phone is analog or not and if its tuner supports RDS? If it is digital radio or RDS not supported, is there a way to make radio application run?
