stop automatic widget resizing
sankar last edited by
In my Application i am having a properties window which is a QDockWidget. I have a QGroupBox that is set as widget to the QDockWidget using setWidget() function. The group box is having many child widgets and they are laid out using QVBoxLayout.
Whenever I dynamically add child widgets to group box, the my QDockWidget is automatically getting resized. At the same time, i don't want to set fixed size for the QDockWidget because user should be able to resize the width of the QDOckWidget.
So i want to stop the dock widget resizing based on the child widgets but at the same time user should be able to resize the dock widget.
I don't know how to do this. Can any one help me?
Hi and welcome to devnet,
Looks like QScrollArea might be of interest in your case.
Hope it helps
