Occasionally when I'm building qt5 from git a submodule will fail during configuration. Usually this seems to be because it is missing a library. For example, QtWebEngine failed to configure because I was missing libcap-dev. However overall qt5 will build. How do I detect which submodules have built / failed? Current best guess is to check qtbase/lib, but that doesn't tell me why it failed.

      Hi,

If there's a failure the build itself should fail. However, are you running a multithreaded build ? That might pull the error way up in your terminal
