    Hi Folks,

    I have a problem with sending HTTP request via Qt that consist of two parts:

    • as I understand, the HTTP requests are plain texts sent via TCP connection. According that I have an embedded device with static IP address. How can I access this via HTTP GET method? As I see, QNetworkAccessManager and QNetworkRequest expect a hostname, but it isn't guaranteed to be in case of device with static IP.
    • The device mentioned above expects such a request: "GET /host?key0=&key1=&etc", but until now I didn't found a method that help me to build such a request.
      What's the preferred way in the world of Qt to build such kind of request?

    Regards,
    Norbert

      Hi,

      manager->get(QNetworkRequest(QUrl("http://192.168.100.101/host?key0=value0&key1=value1")));

      should do the job
