I'm playing an audio file using QMediaPlayer. Is there any way to save a part of it as another Mp3. Like if I provide start time and end time of the clip. Presently I am making use of FFMpeg to achieve this. Is there any other way?

Hi @Antweb, I think QMediaRecorder seems to be closer to your requirement.
P.S: I don't have much knowledge with Qt's media related stuff but just guessing from those class's documentation.

Checked out QMediaPlayer. I think it is of use when you have an external camera or microphone, but probably not to save a part of an existing mp3. Can anybody help?

          Hi,

AFAIK, there's currently no option to do file editing like that with QtMultimedia

Thanks. I thought so. FFMpeg it is then for the time being.
