How to include to installer MSVC libraries?
Does anybody know how to attach MSVC Files, such as MSVC++ redistributive 2010 and 2013.
Customers have administrative rules on own PCs.
I have two idea:
- I include MSVC++ redistributive files as installer third party components, but I don't know how to do it.
- l include only required library files (MSVCP120.DLL, MSVCR120.DLL, ...)to application folder, but I'm not sure that it is legally by Microsoft.
Please, suggest me right solution!
Hi and welcome to devnet,
AFAIK, the correct way is to include Microsoft's vcredist installer and run it from your own installer. As to how to do it, it depends on the installer framework you'll be using.

@SGaist, thanks for your answer! I want to clarify how to do it on Qt Installer Framework? Is there any examples?
You can take a look at the installer script of Qt Creator
@alex_malyu Very helpful post, thanks!
