Qt - Android and home button

Hi. I haven't got a fluent english. Now I will try to explain my problem. I hope somebody will understand and will help me.
My Android application based on Qt works by polling a remote server. Every time I have a new event, I show it and I emit a notification using the Android notification system directly.
The problem happens when I click on the home button. Now my application is not visible but works as a minimized application but I have a problem now.
I'm not sure but seems that the communication threads work but not the main thread.
I will see the UI interface updated when I restore the application and now all the notifications will be made.
Seems that the ui thread stops to run but not the other threads.

What do you think about? Does the main thread stops till application restore up?
