I am rewriting my existing Java/Eclipse Android app into QML/C++. I am going over various articles on how to detect left, right, up and down swipes. However, it keeps getting more confusing with so many controls. There seems to be GestureArea (which seems to be provided by Qt labs separately), multi-touch area, PinchArea, etc.

What is the proper recommended way to detect Android swipe gestures using QML?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Regards,
    Pradeep
