How to use libqxt in my project
I am planning to use libqxt to use its emailing service. I downloaded the zip package from "here":https://github.com/mnutt/libqxt. As per the README instruction, I first ran qmake, followed by make. Both worked fine. Now I see the lib folder being generated with a number of dynamic libraries and frameworks inside. Which one do I need to use for the emailing bit, as explained "here?":http://www.qtcentre.org/threads/32359-how-do-i-send-message-by-َ-QxtSmtp
And which header files do I need to include?
which is in the QxtNetwork module
It's a binary, right? How do I #include it?
No it's a header file
Then you need to link to the QxtNetwork library
Based on the "user guide":http://dev.libqxt.org/libqxt/wiki/user_guide :
QT += qxt
QXT += network
in your pro file
Ok, so to be clear, I will have to keep the < QxtSmtp> header file in my include path. What of the others? Are they dependencies? Do I have to keep the folder structure, that is, the entire QxtNetwork folder in my include path and explicitly include only <QxtSmtp>, while it includes the others from that folder on its own?
The others are just part of Qxt which proposes several things. The INCLUDEPATH and linker parameter should be setup for you through the use of the two lines in my las post
