    Using the "add existing files" dialog in creator. Searching through long file lists is a real nuisance. Typing the first letters of file name and selecting listed files in drop-down box is a quick solution.

    However, it does not work. The selected files are not in double quotes and therefore are not found when closing the dialog.

    I am on Qt creator 3.1.2. Is this a general problem?

        This is on Win7 64 bit. You are right it is most likely OS dependent.
        It is a self-compiled version of Qt creator, but that should make no difference, since this part is not touched. However, creator is compiled with MinGW against Qt 5.3.1.
