I'm trying to build an example (\qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.8.0\examples\tutorials\modelview\1_readonly)
using qt creator that was installed when I installed Qt 5.3.1.
Unfortunately, I keep getting a build error:
F:\qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.8.0\examples\tutorials\modelview\1_readonly\main.cpp:43: error: C1083: Cannot open include file: 'QtGui/QApplication': No such file or directory.
How do I fix this?
Are you trying to build a Qt 4 example with a Qt 5 version ?

Are you trying to build a Qt 4 example with a Qt 5 version ?[/quote]
Then just grab the same example from Qt 5 sources
If the modelview tutorial source code existed in the current version, I wouldn't be trying to build from the old code.
It does exists. It's located in qt5/qtbase/examples/widgets/tutorials/modelview/1_readonly/

I'm blind. It's building just fine, thanks for your help.
You're welcome !
Now that the tutorial is working please update the thread title prepending [solved] so other forum users may know a solution has been found :)
