Import Project completely crashing Qt Creator Winx64?

[EDIT: Sorry, just realized this may have been the wrong place to post this; won't do it again. Hoping a reply still comes.]

I just upgraded to the latest Qt download Windows x64 with OpenGL (offline download).
My project failed to open (crashed), so I thought maybe the format of the .creator.user file had changed. However, when I tried again to simply import a pretend project with 1 file and generate the setup files, Qt Creator still crashed.

Does it also happen if you create a new default project ?

Seems to work for creating new projects (all I tested was creating a Plain C++ Project and a Qt Widget Project)

...fixed my Import Project issue in Windows (although I thought I downloaded the VS2013 version)

Linux Qt Creator 5.4 is working fine for me still.

Not sure, I downloaded it from this site the day of the OP, I believe

You have several packages available for windows for the different compilers e.g. MinGW, VS2013 etc.

Not sure, would have been VS, probably 2013, maybe 2010

You should be able to deduce this from the folder name of your Qt installation

I meant you should a file like:

@qt-opensource-windows-x86-msvc2013_64-5.4.0.exe@

unless you used the online installer.
