[SOLVED] QT Creator without QT Designer
Simple question. I want to create a new project without the QT Designer forms. Should be simple but is there a walkthrough for getting started? Googling always turns up tutorials on how to use QT Designer.
Hi and welcome to devnet,
You can simply start a new project from Qt Creator and uncheck the checkbox that proposes to generate a UI file for you. From there you can have a look at e.g. the "Widgets Tutorial" form Qt's documentation.
Hope it helps
On a side note, it's Qt, QT stands for Apple QuickTime
It's always the simple things that get missed.
(and thanks for the note on the Qt formatting)
You're welcome !
Since that point has been cleared, please update the thread title prepending [solved] so other forum users may know a solution has been found :)
Happy coding !
