      Hi,

      I'm just starting with Qt. I've installed professional evaluation version and I have no compilers set as default. Is it normal? When I'm trying to compile and run Build on "Application Example" it says:
      @Error while building/deploying project application (kit: Desktop Qt 5.3 MSVC2012 OpenGL 32bit)
      When executing step "Make"@

      What should I set in Build & Run -> Kits to quickly start trying out the Qt.

      Thanks

        Hi and welcome to devnet,

        This question has been asked many times, please search the forum.

        You likely don't have Visual Studio 2012 installed on your computer. You must first get it from Microsoft's web site.

        If you'd like to avoid that, then install the MinGW package
