QSettings in Qt Simulator: are they actually working?

Hi,
I have not succeeded to work with QSettings in Qt Simulator: they won't re-load when I restart the program. Googling only reveal that I am not the only one to encounter this. Anybody know how to fix the situation with settings?

Where should the simulator store the data? I think that can't work!

Works fine for me, on Linux amd64, Qt SDK 1.1 RC.
