Is it possible to run eglfs on x86? We are using x86 in an embedded context and I would like to use QtQuick in eglfs mode for our application. X works, but we are experiencing perfomance issues.

I've tried both fglrx and radeon drivers.

This is what I get, when I try to run my app in fullscreen mode (eglfs as a mode is available):

    /etc/init.d/lightdm stop
    qmlscene -platform eglfs test.qml

    GLFS: Failed to open /dev/fb0
    libEGL warning: DRI2: xcb_connect failed
    libEGL warning: DRI2: xcb_connect failed
    libEGL warning: GLX: XOpenDisplay failed
    Could not initialize egl display

    Any ideas?
