QNX 6.6.0 not accepting keyboard input

I am developing applications for QNX 6.6.0 on a Beagle Bone Black target. Currently, I have the mouse working (without a cursor - separate issue). I have yet to be successful in getting the keyboard to provide input to text boxes yet. Has anyone been able to set up a keyboard to work with a Qt application on QNX?
I am sure this is just a setting issue, I just haven't been able to figure out what I need to do to get the input to post to the Qt application.
