Qt 5.3.1 compiling error

Hello,

I'm trying to compile my first Qt program ( I installed Qt 5.3.1 for windows 64 bit (VS 2013,573MB) ) but Qtcreator is deplaying the following error:"Qt creator needs a compiler set up to build.Configure a compiler in the kit option."
I tried to fix the problem adding the MinGw compiler manually with no results I even tried to download the visual c++ compiler 2013 CTP but the setup failed (it says : A valid Visual Studio 2013 installation was not found).

Hi,

If you want to use VS 2013 package then you need to install Visual Studio 2013.

On the other hand, you could get the MinGW package that includes MinGW, so need other installation needed

Please, did you mean by MinGW package the one for windows 32 bit ?

Yes, you can run it without any problem on a Win 64bit
