How to create threads in qt

i want to create thread in qt using which i want to carryout some other operations, i googled about it but did not find any useful documents or examples regrading it. anyone tell me how can i create it.

@ecmanja: dude, before googling, why on earth don't you just click on that "Help" icon in creator and simply search for "thread"? These qt guys have spent a lot of time and effort exactly so that you DON'T have to google such basic things.
