    I tried to compile it, however I get numerous errors related to Wayland and Wayland functions that seem to have changed.

    For instance : wl_display_add_object which looks like it has disappeared some time ago : https://gitorious.org/weston/wayland/commit/3ac8757

    This is quite sad, I would really have liked to toy my own compositor !

      I would recommend asking this question on the interest mailing list. You'll find there Qt's developers/maintainers (this forum is more user oriented)
