Hello,
I have subclassed QGraphicsView and QGraphicsScene which has a huge amount of subclassed QGraphicsItem's in it. Now i want to select multiple item's, which works if i use the ctrl key+mouseclick. However, I want to be able to hold the mouse and draw a selection rectangle which selects the items.Can Qt already do this or do I need to implement this on my own?

For the selection rectangle, have a look at the QRubberBand
