Screensaver for Symbian^3

Hi,

I've developed a bit for my N8 phone. I now thought it would be fun to make my own screensaver. You know, what's shown when you lock the phone, where the big clock is.
But I don't know how to start. Do I create a 'normal' application, and register it in a special way to get my N8 to recognize it as a screensaver? Are there special classes to use?

There is no Qt APIs for it but sure you can create your own screensaver. I would start here http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/TSS000430_-_Writing_a_screen_saver_for_S60_3rd_Edition_devices . I haven't tried that example on Symbian^3 and there is most likely some API changes. In Forum Nokia people are asking about ECOM integration of Qt which probably means that least some of them are trying to create screensaver :)
