Qtcreator with Android Issues

  • I have an empty 'Qt Widgets Application' which builds and runs fine as a Desktop app. I was using ndk-r9 and when I tried to deploy it on a nexus 4 or 7 QT Creator just crashes.

I then upgraded to the latest ndk-9b to see if this may fix anything; however I now get this error when I try the android build:
:-1: error: No rule to make target /opt/android-ndk-r9/sources/cxx-stl/gnu-libstdc++/4.8/include/utility', needed bymain.o'. Stop.

    QT setup:
    Qt Creator 2.8.83 (3.0.0-pre-rc)
Based on Qt 5.2.0 (GCC 4.6.1, 64 bit)
    Built on Nov 14 2013 at 05:23:55
    From revision bfad6f107a

  • I just created a new QT Quick Control project and I now don't get the "No rule to make target" error. However QT Creator crashes every single time I try to deploy to the android device..

  • Same issue here, it crashes when trying to deploy on a device ( Nexus 4 as well ). I can't try right now, but have you tried with an AVD ?
