Qt 5.1 QWindow OpenGL Example

the example, http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5.1/qtgui/openglwindow.html, -- works for me but the window cannot be moved or resize and sort of freezes the desktop. have to press win+d on windows 7 premium 64bit to be able to close the program.

You need to provide more information, how did you install Qt, what compiler are you using etc...

vc++ compiler 11.0 (amd64)
Qt5.1.0\5.1.0\msvc2012_64_opengl

installed from http://download.qt-project.org/archive/qt/5.1/5.1.0/qt-windows-opensource-5.1.0-msvc2012_opengl-x86_64-offline.exe i assume

maybe should try the 5.1.1 update?

Yes, that's a good idea, if bleeding edge doesn't scare you, you could even go for the Qt5.2.0 Beta

actually i think i did try 5.2 beta but couldnt get qt creator 3 to work

i just tried 5.1.1 and it is doing the same thing.
