    on mac i have libhunspell-1.3.0.dylib
    a libhinspell-1.3.a
    and a symlink libhunspell-1.3.dylib

    if i link against the .a (static link) it works. but it doesn't work when i link against the .dylib

      Just to make sure: you did leave out the filename (hunspell-xxx.dylib) from the argument to -L (uppercase L), as this must point to a directory, not a file?

        yes and a lowercase l before the lib name right? exactly like i wrote 2 posts before is my call
