I would like to be able to call a Mac-specific function in my Qt code, or the LSSharedFileList actually. Can I do this? If so, what #includes and/or changes to the .pro file are needed?

Hi,
LSSharedFileList has a c API so you can use it like any other c API in your code. You'll have to link against the CoreService framework.
