    Hi All,

    I'm fighting to install Qt5 on a new fresh i386 Debian Squeeze setup. As soon as I try to run the "qt-linux-opensource-5.0.1-x86-offline.run" script , I receive the following error:

    "/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 version 'GLIBCXX_3.4.15 not found'".

    Any idea or suggestion?
    Is there anybody who succesfully install QT5 on a debian squeeze?

    Thanks for any help or suggestion.

      Hi and welcome to DevNet,

      First thing to do is to check what version of libstdc++ you have installed. It might be to old to run the installer.

      Hope it helps

        In fact, I discovered that Deb. Squeeze does not support gcc-4.7 or higher. So I decided to jump to Debian Wheezy. For this Deb. version I was able to install Qt5.0.
