You cannot upload an image on DevNet itself, but in the bugtracker you can. Is there a good reason for not sharing it?

Do you mean attachments. Or is it the avatar image - if its you can change the avatar image in your profile.

JIRA is somewhat of an island when it comes to our websites. The integration with anything outside that island is really tricky. If we ever run out of things to do, we will have a closer look at it.

I know that it can be a hassle to keep track of all the different accounts on all sorts of sites, I have a dedicated email folder for that now. Gravatars are neat though since so many web sites use them. But hey, it's just an avatar...

So, to get things straight: I'm not saying it's a stupid suggestion, all I'm saying is that it's not very likely to happen. At least not in the near future.

Then, can you say how the ranking of a gravatar pic can be improved? The FAQ there isn't helpful for this.

Afaik you have to rate you gravatar by yourselve, don't you?
If your mouse (using a desktop :-)) is hovering the image on "Gravatar":http://www.gravatar.com you can click on the image or right of it opn a rating icon. Then you can select the rating.

You have to go to your profile and click on the rating symbol on the right of your picture (it's X by default). Then you enter a page where you can change the rating quite easily.

It's not exactly straight forward but as we can see now, all worked out in the end. ;)

Wolf/Gerolf - would you mind writing a short wiki article on this? This would surely be helpful for other users too. At least for me - as I consider to upload a gravatar :-)
