I have created a scrolling text using timer. It works fine in x86-based linux. But I found it is not scrolling smooth over arm Cortex-A8 1Ghz processor when I test it on beagleboard. It has a short pause periodically, it seems one or two ticks are missed periodically. Any suggestion?
