Will Qt run on BeagleBone?

I know that Qt works just fine on BeagleBoard-xM, but what about BeagleBone? I'm looking to purchase one or the other, but I wanted to make sure that it worked on the BeagleBone before I bought it.

Also, in terms of performance, would the the BeagleBoard have enough power to display some simple animations (radial guages with moving needles)? Thanks!
