QtInstaller and QtMaintainceTool failed in Windows11
-
It's really strange that after long time waiting
It gives that I can't connect to the server. And four students in my dorm all encountered the same error.
These are all errors happened in my win11.
However, when I am using my archlinux, it's OK to use the MaintainceTool and the qt installer.
Does anyone has a solution? Or have idea about what's wrong? -
@Eric464 Try another mirror.
See https://wiki.qt.io/Online_Installer_4.x -

See https://wiki.qt.io/Online_Installer_4.xThank you for your help. But I have tried the mirror of nju, ustc and tuna tsinghua. (using the --mirror ...). They were helpful before, but unfortunately they are all useless now.

@BX001 How many different mirrors have you tried?
I don't know if you are talking to me. If are, I have tried three mirrors and they are almost the biggest mirror stations in my country. I guess it just throws error when checking license preconditions from the official website before I login and begin downloading files from the mirror station.

Not sure what you mean. What exact error do you get?

Just as the picture. when I open the QtInstaller, it shows "checking the license preconditions" and after a while ,it gives error "can't connect to the server."
I guess there were several steps that the installer/maintainceTool has to connect with the Qt Official server(like get the license preconditions, or pull some official information) and it just went wrong in these steps, so it's not helpful to use mirrors.
Because the "can't connect to the server" error happened just after I open the installer instead of , say ,I opened the installer, and login, and choose something to download, then the download speed is 0, and then it gives "can't connect to the server".
If the latter situation, I might think it could be solved by change a mirror.
But it's the former situation, and I have tried many mirrors and all failed. -

我是尝试了好几个镜像,都是不行,尝试了ubuntu也不行,为什么要废弃离线安装呢?

MSYS2 Qt is another idea, which provides all-in-one POSIX-like pacman packages , not only Qt 5/6 Included, but also libboost\opencv\gdal\fftw. The only problem is Web Engine does not support mingw64,. in MSYS2 you can fallback to a fresh version of WebKit.
