    Hi, I just bought a new device and tried to install Qt5 but it's not on the online installation list. Is there any way to install Qt5 with the online installer?

    I really appreciate all your answers thanks :)

      @jsulm
      Too bad the previous problem came back.

      Network error while downloading 'https://mirrors.cloud.tencent.com/qt/online/qtsdkrepository/all_os/qt_patchers/690/2024-12-12-0612_meta.7z': Error transferring https://mirrors.cloud.tencent.com/qt/online/qtsdkrepository/all_os/qt_patchers/690/2024-12-12-0612_meta.7z - server replied: Forbidden.

      You can select a different mirror for opensource metadata and downloads. The mirror can be set from terminal using option --mirror. Available mirrors can be found from:
      https://download.qt.io/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/root/qt/Updates.xml.mirrorlist
      Do not use the full path but use the path before '/online' (no forward slash at the end)

      @Blackzero
      Try another mirror, for example one mentioned in https://wiki.qt.io/Online_Installer_4.x#Selecting_a_mirror_for_opensource

        what do you have selected in the filter?

        Latest supported releases should feature the latest Qt5,
        if it doesn't check archive and click filter
        That will definitely give you Qt5 versions to select from

                @jsulm Yeah right, I'm having issues with mirrors, and running the installer using mirrors.

                  @Bonnie "Why is it Qt Insight Tracker?"

                  Probably because the Qt Maintainer is being run in Update mode from an installation containing only Qt Insight Tracker.

                      @J-Hilk hmm I'm using the latest 4.8.1 online installer, but when I run it it fails to download https://download.qt.io/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/root/qt/Updates.xml.mirrorlist and I tried to run it with --mirror, maybe that's the cause why my installer is different, I don't know what other solutions are

                          @jsulm this

                          MaintenanceTool.exe --mirror https://download.qt.io/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/root/qt/Updates.xml.mirrorlist

                          I also use it when installing.
