How can I make a widget grow as the dialog grows?

I have a dialog with tableView in it. I want the view to grow as I grow the dialog and shrink as I shrink the dialog. How can I do this?

Vertical spacers? how do I fix them to the border of the dialog?

but I got a tiny shrinked table view!

In the designer, right-clic on your dialog and choose layout->layout vertically

You are in some mixed up situation. You look to have layout problems. It's all doable in Designer if you like that way, or in code. Don't mix the two here. I would start over if I were you.

Simply put a horizontal spacer to the left or right of that button (depending on which side you want your button to be).
