I use the Qt Creater 4.82. based on QT 5.12.1. Yesterday i mad a mistake and open the Qt Creator a second time. I got an error, but i was interesd in, because the first QT Creator works fine.
Today I want to start the Creator with my project. But the project has now the following issue:

Error while parsing file /home/development/projects/zynq/application/nfc_meas_v40_qt_/nfc_meas_qt.pro. Giving up.

If I open "Manage Kits", no kit was in the "Configure Project" available. Info "No valid kits found".
Over the Option "Please add a kit in the options or via the maintenance tool of the SDK. i can see my kids but i can`t select any of the kids.
    I use Linux.

    Thanks for help.

Did you check this file? Maybe it is damaged?

@MikeMunich The file is ok. I all check all the other projects. All projects have the same issue. I can also not create a new project, same issue with the kids.

@MikeMunich So, you have Kits but they all are not valid?
Did you check them? There should be some yellow/red exclamation marks telling you what is wrong.

@MikeMunich At least the selected Kit has no Qt version set as can be clearly seen from the screen-shot.

@jsulm Many thanks for the quick help. In which file are these settings saved? This file seems to have been damaged by my error. Then I can make a backup right away. However, red exclamation marks now appear in front of the kit in the list tree of the kits. Where can I find the error description as to why the red exclamation marks are displayed?

@MikeMunich Did you try hovering the mouse over the red exclamations?

                      @JonB
This setup wants to build a 64bit version, I have set 32 bit. Where does this kit name "ARM QT 5.21" get the inso that it is 64 bit and how can I change it to 32 bit only?
I made these settings once in 2017. Since then everything has been stable. I have no idea how I put this configuration together back then.

                      Name:
                      Qt 5.12.1 in PATH (System)
                      ABI:
                      x86-linux-generic-elf-64bit

                        In QtCreator config: ~/.config/QtProject/qtcreator
