How to print data in landscape mode in thermal printer using the Qextserialport library

I am planning to use the qextserialport library , so can I print anything in landscape mode ? I use CSN - A2 printer.

Hi,

You should take a look a the printer documentation. From a quick look, there's a command to rotate 90 degrees clockwise so it might be what you want.

The printer documentation which comes with the printer, nothing to do with Qt. Neither @SGaist nor anyone else knows what a "CSN - A2 printer" requires to print in landscape mode.

@JonB Can you help me print text in vertical orientation using the library ?

@Srinath_S as already suggested: read the printer manual. It contains all the possible commands you can send to it and the one I mentioned in my previous message. QextSerialPort has nothing to do with the direction of printing beside being able to send the commands to the printer.
