Hello! I'm installing Qt Creator on my pc with the Qt creator online installer. with the default settings, the installation would take 80Gb. I removed something I didn't need and now it "only" takes 40Gb of disk storage. is this normal? installing it with my package manager (pacman) it takes 390Mb...
It is now installing, and it estimates as total install time... 17h and 40m??? Is this normal? I installed it other times on different PCs but don't recall all this time... my internet connection is about 50Mbps according to https://www.speedtest.net/. Am I doing something wrong?

bonus question: is it really not possible to install android kits on Qt creator without using the online installer, but installing it from the package manager?

    thanks in advance!

      Hi,

      Try with a different mirror.

For the size difference, there are the libraries for debug and release builds. The former are not installed by default with your package manager.

As for Androïd build, unless your distribution explicitly provides it (which is highly unlikely), you need the installer (or build it yourself).
