Cannot download & install Open Source Qt package due to server "forbidden" error
-
Hi there,
Been having some issues trying to install the Qt 6.5.1 Source Packages. Both the online and offline packages refuse to work, screenshot below shows the redirect when I attempt to download the offline package.
Although I am able to download the .run script for the online installer, I get stuck when it tries to contact the same server while downloading the repo's. Have tried from multiple devices and networks. Would be really appreciated if anyone had any clue as to what is going on.
Thanks a lot :)

@Nopesef The newer online installer allow you to change the mirror from which it downloads Qt and tools.

@jsulm What mirror should I change it to?

@jsulm What mirror should I change it to?
@Nopesef Try some from https://download.qt.io/static/mirrorlist/

@jsulm I am receiving the error code 'Cannot parse Updates.xml: Unexpected Character' from all of the repo's at https://download.qt.io/static/mirrorlist/ . I have tried putting them under both the 'Temporary Repositories' and the 'User defined repositories' within the installer to no avail. And annoyingly, I cannot use that other link that you provided as it seems to be windows specific

It is not. Simply use --mirror parameter when you call installer.

@jsulm Oh great, that actually has worked. Thank you so much :)
