    Hi,

I’m presently in the planning phase of my project and I’ m looking at QT6 since it seems quite powerful. My application will offer the possibility of scanning images and other documents to interact with before storing them into a database.

My question: does QT offer widget or functionalities to interact with installed scanners via Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) or Sane (Linux). I know there is support for cameras, but I can’t seem to find anything for scanners.

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

To the best of my knowledge there's no prebuilt module for that in Qt. However, I would check KDE's project to see if they have something that might be cross-platform for that.
