Cross platform taskbar progress indicator

Since the demise of QWinTaskbarProgress, I've been hoping for the promised cross platform replacement.
AFAICT it isn't part of 6.5.
What is the current plan for delivery please
I'm getting some "push-back" from users of my application who bemoan the loss of this function since I converted most of the code to use Qt.
Hoping for some good news.

Since it's a user forum, you are not very likely going to get an answer about that.
In between, nothing forbids you to try and build the module with Qt 6 and integrate it into your application.
