Not able to install QT open source on Windows 11
-
Hi,
I am absolutely not able to install any of the LTS version of QT on my Windows 11. This is the error I am getting in the screenshot:
I tried to visit the mirrors.aliyun.com/qtproject/.... URL mentioned in the error, but no such URL existed.
I have tried installing custom, pervious and latest release version, but everything stops at this point. I have been told that this error does not arrives in Linux and Mac.
Kindly Support. -
Hi and welcome to devnet,
Similar questions have been asked a lot these past days. Try using a different mirror.

@SGaist Hi,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I saw a couple of posts people suggesting different mirrors, can you let me know how to actually specify a different mirror for the installation process. I am working on Windows. -

Searching for "Qt installer select mirror" would have been quicker than waiting: https://wiki.qt.io/Online_Installer_4.x#Selecting_a_mirror_for_opensource

For me issue is resolve by using below command on Windows 11:
qt-online-installer-windows-x64-4.8.1.exe --mirror http://qt.mirror.constant.com
