By pressing the "Split" button next to the X.
For the future - repeating the same short sentence 3 times is not a good way to ask a question. Try to be more specific next time.

So how to have editor in place of that split? -

So how to have editor in place of that split?@kapabahwuk Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. What editor?

Put it there then. What exactly is the problem?

@kapabahwuk You want to edit code in that tiny space while you have the whole main area to do that? I don't think there's an option for that. The closest you can do I think is split the editor window into a separate window and just float it above that space I guess.
Out of curiosity - that sounds really weird. Why do you want to do that?

I have big monitor :)
how can I proceed that? The closest you can do I think is split the editor window into a separate window and just float it above that space I guess.

If you have a big monitor it makes even less sense to cram the text editor into that little space. Maybe just make Qt Creator window smaller if it takes too much space for you? You can even close that side panel entirely (see View menu) and then make the entire window, which will be mostly text editor, as small as you want
In any case you can split the editor window via the same looking "Split" button in the top right corner of the text editor panel, but like I said earlier, that's not exactly what you wanted. There's no option to do exactly that.
