Qt Creator MacOS Opt Drag

The Qt Creator MacOS editor does not appear to support text drag operations with the Opt modifier pressed before click and drag. If you start a drag operation and then press Opt then it works. This is an awkward process and contrary to convention. Any chance this could be tweaked?

Both. You should be able to drag with the Opt modifier pressed before starting the drag operation, and also the present behavior of changing a move drag to a copy drag by pressing Opt after the drag has been initiated.
