    Hello Everyone,
I'm asking my question here as I think that if you are a QT Master you'd be more knowledgable on this kind of topic than I am.

    My Problem:
    I have a bmw e46, and i have a 13" touchscreen laptop that I'm not using.

    • My car has its factory audio system so no AUX no Bluetooth
    • I've been having troubles with reverse, and blind spot attention
    • I'm practicing some computer vision for lane detection
    • I so hate how i have to use navigation on my phone
    • I'd love to have my error codes show up on a screen

so i've started my research and found out Open Auto solves most of the multimedia problems, but i didn't like the interface and it doesn't seem extensible for what i might have in mind for later,
I've seen a video of someone on youtube replicating the tesla center headunit using qml and i think that's what i'm looking for.

So, could you help me figure out how to best embark on such a project:
basically i want something that boots with the ignition on on a pc with a customisable interface.

thank you and i'm really sorry if the question isn't clear
