    Hello all,
    So, how can I run Qt Creator 8.0.0-beta2?
    I also have Qt Creator 7.0.2 installed.

    I used
    qt-unified-linux-x64-4.4.1-online.run
    to install them.

    The executable is in
    /opt/Qt/Tools/QtCreator/bin
    and the name is qtcreator

    but when I run that, it opens 7.0.2.

        I downloaded
        qt-unified-linux-x64-4.4.1-online.run

        I run it like this:
        sudo ./qt-unified-linux-x64-4.4.1-online.run

        and during the install process, I checked off Qt Creator 7.0.2 and the 8.0.0-beta
        and Qt lib 5.15.2
        and I gues gcc 64 bit and some other things.

        I think I also ran these to place shortcuts on the Start menu of Kubuntu.
        sudo cp ~/QtIcon.png /opt/Qt <===The icon
        sudo cp ~/org.qt-project.qtcreator2.desktop /usr/share/applications <=== For Qt Creator
        sudo cp ~/org.qt-project.maintenancetool.desktop /usr/share/applications <=== For the Qt Maintenance tool

          Pre released Qt Creator versions are usually under <Qt install dir>/Tools/Preview/Qt Creator 8.0.0-beta2/bin/qtcreator

            @DavidSchulz said in Kubuntu 22.04 - Qt Creator 8.0.0-beta2:

            Thanks!
